Our guide will pick you and your group up at your accommodation and we will head out of town in search of these lights. We will head into darkness as the light pollution from human beings spoils the true effect and grandeur of these amazing communication relays from the Gods. Hopefully, we will see them. The conditions have to be right as we can´t see them unless it´s a clear night sky and a few clouds to block the view. But the Aurora Borealis answer to no man. It’s a chase. If the lights appear they do, but they don´t seem to care what humans think about them. But you will get a cup of hot chocolate just like grandma used to make and delicious pastries from Bread and Co on the site.

Northern Lights Super Jeep

GOLDEN

CIRCLE TOURS

GOLDEN CIRCLE SMALL GROUP

(9 HOURS)

Season: All year | Age limit: none

First, we take the chance to feast on scenic stops at Thingvellir National Park, a jewel with both historical and geological value. This is the place where Iceland’s parliament was founded in 930 A.D; every year, and until the Danish colonialism, around 30 ruling chiefs met to discuss the law on the island. It also holds the meeting of the North-American and Eurasian tectonic plates, and that’s the reason why we say that we can walk between continents at this specific location.

Furthermore, we visit Efstidalur dairy farm, where we are always very enthusiastic to taste their organic and homemade ice creams. The amazing views of Mount Hekla and the possibility of interacting with Icelandic cows, horses and dogs make this family farm a great place to stop. Very family-friendly and breathtaking scenery!

Geysir geothermal area is quite stunning where we can witness the geyser Strokkur erupt every five minutes. Right after, we head towards the thundering Gullfoss waterfall, which tops many lists as a powerful and hypnotizing natural phenomenon.

A delicious lunch stop (lunch not included) at Friðheimr tomato farm will replenish us before we head out again to keep on exploring the surroundings.

To finish our day, we visit Kerið crater lake, with pristine waters, inside a 3.000 years old caldera. The colors of Kerið are intense and beautiful!

GOLDEN CIRCLE BY SUPER JEEP & SNOWMOBILE ON GLACIER (9 - 10 HOURS)

Season: All year | Age limit: 6 years old

Our first stop on the Golden Circle is Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home of Iceland’s first parliament and the oldest extant parliamentary institution in the world. Also capturing the world’s attention is Þingvellir’s geological features where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates can be seen separating from each other, although, ever-so-slightly year after year. From Þingvellir, we head inland toward the highly active Geysir Hot Spring area with its boiling mud pits and spouting hot springs. We continue on to Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most powerful waterfalls. Located on Hvítá river, this waterfall fed by Langjökull Glacier plummets 32 meters in two stages into a rugged canyon. To top it all off, we drive to Langjökull Glacier for another Iceland adventure where we will dash across snowfields on snowmobiles, gazing at the mountain peaks, while enveloped in this icy realm.

GOLDEN CIRCLE WITH FARM LUNCH & LUXURY GEOTHERMAL SEA BATHS (10 HOURS)

Season: All year | Age limit: 12 years old

Thingvellir national parks is the first stop. This is where we got our independence, this is where we took Christianity, the first church in Iceland was built there and this is where the 2 tectonic plates that Iceland is located on, move apart from each other. Thingvellir is not an only natural beauty, but this place is filled with historical events throughout Iceland’s history.

While you are in Iceland, there is a “must do” to try all the authentic Iceland has to offer. You get the chance to visit an Icelandic dairy farm and enjoy what Icelanders call, Made in satin”. That means enjoying food and products which the farmers make with their own hands.

One of the farmers which are 3 sisters and 1 brother, will sit down with the small group and hold a presentation. After the presentation, you will taste their homemade products. For lunch, they have 2 options: Beef meat soup with beef from the farm, or mushroom soup with mushrooms from Iceland’s only mushroom farm. For dessert, you will get homemade ice cream.

After this nice visit to these sisters’ farm, you will continue over to the world-famous one and only Geysir. Why do I say,, one and only”? That´s because this natural phenomenon called Geyser comes originally from this one in Iceland.

Do you know what every Icelander is proud of? The iconic Gullfoss waterfall. Standing there and marveling at this beautiful waterfall is absolutely breathtaking. The water in this waterfall runs from Iceland’s second-biggest glacier, Langjökull glacier.

End this tour in a perfect way. Iceland is rich of geothermal water and we have hundreds of hot springs all around Iceland.

You have the chance to bathe in one of Iceland’s hot springs and it’s actually a warm seawater.

These are luxury geothermal sea baths located in Hvalfjörður(whale fjord) and there you get the most stunning view while relaxing both mind and body.
